Negash Kebede

Negash Kebede is an accomplished educator and leader with extensive experience in education, management, and academic administration. With a strong academic background that includes a BA in Physics from Ethiopia, an MSc in Education from the USA, and coursework towards a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree, Negash has dedicated his career to advancing education in Ethiopia. His expertise spans educational leadership, program management, and institutional development, with a particular focus on higher education and science and technology programs.

Negash has held various key leadership positions throughout his career. He served as the Dean of Science and Technology at Hope University College in Addis Ababa from 2015 to 2020 and as the CEO of Hope Enterprises between 2012 and 2015. His academic leadership also includes his tenure as President of Meserete Kristos College from 2007 to 2012 and Director of K-12 at Dandi Boru School from 2006 to 2007. With experience in both teaching and administration, he has also worked as a lecturer in the Physics Department at Addis Ababa University, as well as in several teaching roles at schools such as the International Community School of Addis Ababa and the School of Addis Ababa. Negash’s career reflects a passion for education and leadership, marked by his substantial contributions to academic institutions and educational development in Ethiopia.
