
Anteneh (Tony) Mehari is a dedicated community leader, ministry volunteer, and accomplished retail professional with over 32 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Addis Ababa University Law School, where he graduated in 1979 after completing his high school education at Bible Academy in 1972. Tony immigrated to the United States in late 1979, where he built a successful career in retail and became a vital part of the Ethiopian diaspora community in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Tony is a passionate advocate for community development, cultural preservation, and faith-based ministry. As a leader in the Ethiopian Community Association of Grand Rapids, he fosters community connections and supports cultural initiatives. His faith-driven service includes active ministry roles at New Life Christian Church and Emmanuel Evangelical Church. He also volunteers at the Dream Center of Grand Rapids and works with The StoreHouse of Community Resources.
