Zenebe Abebe is a distinguished higher education professional with over 35 years of experience in leadership roles across various faith-based, nonprofit liberal arts colleges and universities. His career has been marked by significant contributions in academic administration, student development, and organizational leadership. In addition to his extensive experience in higher education, Zenebe has also served as the Executive Director (CEO) of the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) of the Great Lakes Region, where he led the organization for nearly six years.
